Over 30 eyewitnesses in Texas (mainly located in Houston and San Antonio) reported seeing a fireball 2019 April 10th at 11:14 PM Central Daylight Time (2019 April 11 04:14 UTC). The event was also captured by an all sky camera located at Cosmic Obsession Observatory near Kerr, Texas, and its data combined with the eyewitness accounts have enabled a determination of the fireball trajectory. It first became visible at an altitude of 67 miles above a point 14 miles south of Freer, and moved to the northwest at 42,000 miles per hour. The meteor travelled a distance of 50 miles through the upper atmosphere before ablating at an altitude of 42 miles above a point 11 miles east of Artesia Wells.
